A bookshop open until midnight in winter. A mark that works as a lamp, a sign and a stamp on every paper bag.
The brief
Nordlys stays open late through the dark months, and the owners wanted the shop to feel like a lit window on a cold street.
The idea
A simple lamp shape that doubles as an open book. It glows on the sign, sits on every receipt and is printed on the paper bags in one warm colour.
What we made
Identity, shop sign, paper bags, bookmarks, shelf labels and a reading-list format the staff write by hand each week.
